Main duties and responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the heart-lung (cardiopulmonary bypass) machine during cardiac surgeries
• Connect patients to the extracorporeal circulation system
• Maintain and monitor circulation, oxygenation, and vital functions while the heart and lungs are temporarily stopped
• Closely monitor parameters such as blood pressure, temperature, blood gases, and oxygen levels
• Adjust machine settings to ensure patient stability throughout the procedure
• Collaborate closely with the cardiac surgery team
