Job Description
Principle Duties :
- Provide high quality anesthesia care to the patient clientele
- Provide consultation services to patients as requested Supervise anaesthetists of lower grades, with particular reference to assistant consultants
- Teach and supervise residents and fellows
- Participate in departmental and hospital teaching activities
- Participate in and initiate research activities
- Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed
- Maintain a list of privileges, and work within the confines of that perimeter
- Understand and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to medical practice
- Participate in the quality improvement and reviews conducted by the Department of Pediatric Anesthesia
- Perform other related duties as appropriate and as assigned
- Undertake continuing medical education activities
Job Requirements:
- Education:
Completion of required period of training in pediatric anesthesia, with Saudi/Arab or North American/European Board Certification/Membership/Fellowship status or equivalent.
- Experience:
Have 2 years post certification experience in pediatric anesthesia preferably with 1+ year North American/European/Australian experience
