Job Description
Principle Duties :
- He is governed by the responsibilities outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws.
- Provide and promote a high standard quality of urological care.
- Operate in the OR within his approved privileges.
- Expected to be present in the working vicinity during normal working hours.
- To be available for contact at any time while in town.
- Works under the supervision of a consultant and the Section Head, Division of Urology Surgery.
- Allowed certain aspects of primary care responsibilities within his approved privileges. These are defined and supervised by the immediate consultant and approved by the Section Head, Division of Urology Surgery.
- Carries assigned specific duties within the Division of Urology Surgery with restricted responsibilities as requested by his immediate senior and approved by the Section Head, Division of Urology Surgery.
- Has no admission privilege.
- Participate in training and education of his iunior staff.
- Attend and participate in all urology division academic activities and researches.
- Attend and participate in all division meetings.
- Attend and participate in the Department of Surgery staff meetings.
- Actively involved and participate in the ongoing quality management program.
- Meets the CME requirements of Saudi specialization.
- Ensure approval of proper TRA by the Chairman before going on leave.
- Maintains the spirit of the teamwork in the Division of Urology Surgery,
- Perferm other job related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate from a medical school. Successful completion of a structured, accredited residency training program. Certification by the appropriate specialty board approved by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties.
Work Experience: Training and post-training is less than seven (7) years. The candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years experience in a tertiary care center in Urology Surgery after certification.
