Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in providing patient care in Radiation Oncology, under supervision of the Most Responsible Physician (MRP), (ward rounds, clinics, and on-calls).
  • Assists in consultation to other specialties in the hospital.
  • Perform radiation therapy related procedures under the supervision of the MRP.
  • Assists in prescribing and administering radiotherapy under supervision of the MRP.
  • Participates in the department/division educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc.)
  • Participates in the department/division research activities.
  • Participates in the hospital/department committees upon request.
  • Participates in training and education of rotating residents and junior staff members.
  • Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.
  • Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: 

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized medical school — E

Board Certification or Medical Degree in Radiation Oncology — E

A registered member of the Saudi Board Council – E from an accredited institution – Essential

Experience:

Minimum of (one) – Essential
