MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in providing patient care in Radiation Oncology, under supervision of the Most Responsible Physician (MRP), (ward rounds, clinics, and on-calls).
- Assists in consultation to other specialties in the hospital.
- Perform radiation therapy related procedures under the supervision of the MRP.
- Assists in prescribing and administering radiotherapy under supervision of the MRP.
- Participates in the department/division educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc.)
- Participates in the department/division research activities.
- Participates in the hospital/department committees upon request.
- Participates in training and education of rotating residents and junior staff members.
- Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized medical school — E
Board Certification or Medical Degree in Radiation Oncology — E
A registered member of the Saudi Board Council – E from an accredited institution – Essential
Experience:
Minimum of (one) – Essential
